Barry Flatman
A two-time chairman of the British Tennis Journalists' Association and the former tennis correspondent of the Sunday Times and Daily Express.

Richard Evans

Has been covering Grand Slam tennis since the 1960s, becoming friends with some of the greatest names in the sport. In 2024, Richard will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Ron Atkin
Worked for The Observer, Independent and Guardian. Ron covered more than 40 Wimbledon Championships and was also an author. He died in 2023.

John Barrett MBE
Former tennis correspondent of the Financial Times, historian, and one of the voices of Wimbledon for the BBC for 35 years. John was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2014.

Nigel Clarke

He first came into Fleet Street in 1955, and subsequently worked for the Exchange Telegraph, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail and Daily Express. Nigel discussed his career covering tennis, including the infamous Wimbledon press room brawl.
